UAB Homecoming brings out the Blazer spirit every fall with a full week of exciting activities and campus traditions.   Months of preparation go into the many events and contests the School participates in like the UAB Blazer parade, Building Decoration Contest, Gurney Derby, Blazer Village, and a UAB football game.  These are must see events for alumni, students, faculty and the community.

If you did not join us for Homecoming 2009, we missed you!  The theme was “Blazing Through the Decades.” Many of our alumni, faculty, and students attended and helped decorate for Homecoming 2009.  We are proud to announce that the UAB School of Nursing won the softball championship, second place in the float competition (the only school to lace), third place in the Building Decoration Contest, and third place in the overall spirit contest!
