On Sunday, November 6, 2011, the SON Junior Board of Visitors  hosted its fourth No-Show Ball with proceeds totaling over $16,000 to support the Junior Board of Visitors Endowed Scholarship in Pediatric Nursing.  Instead of getting all dressed up to attend a formal function, baskets with a gourmet meal were delivered to over 250 doorsteps in the Birmingham Metro Area!  This has become a very popular event among the Birmingham community because families can support a great cause by staying in for the evening.

The target audiences for this event are families in the Mountain Brook, Crestline, Homewood, Vestavia, Liberty Park, Shoal Creek, Greystone, Hoover and surrounding areas with ties to the community and to the
UAB School of Nursing.
