On Thursday, December 1, 2011, the UAB School of Nursing hosted its annual event to honor scholarship donors and their recipients.  The Scholarship Recognition Luncheon, held at The Club in Homewood, Alabama, honored the School’s generous scholarship donors who believe in higher nursing education. The donors were able to meet their scholarship recipients allowing the students an opportunity to personally thank the donors who are making their nursing education possible.  Our guests enjoyed lunch together and listened to a special message from UAB President, Carol Z. Garrison and three deserving SON scholarship students.
