Clinical Partnership Banner

Our Office of Clinical and Global Partnerships leverages the expertise of our faculty and staff to engage in a wide array of education, research, and service opportunities. These nurse-led, innovative experiential opportunities, inclusive of VA, Women’s and Child, Geriatric, Palliative Care, and Behavioral Health, not only impact the nursing profession but also advance team-based care and promote healthier communities.

As a valuable complement to our classroom learning, our faculty and staff serve as clinical role models as the vast majority maintain active practices where they integrate students to mentor them through challenges faced in the clinical setting. This provides a real-world experience for our students and allows our faculty to provide clinical preparation via rotations in our practice sites and nurse-led clinics.

Our initiatives have grown substantially over the last decade and include more than 85 practice sites through partnerships with entities across our state focused on advancing health outcomes. These sites provide invaluable training opportunities for students to advance safety and quality care and the wellbeing of the community they serve.
