Terms of Reference

In April 2011 The School of Nursing received redesignation as a PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center on International Nursing for four more years (2011-2015). Our terms of reference for 2011-2015 are as follows:

  1. Collaborate with PAHO and WHO to strengthen nursing and midwifery through the development of educational programs and resources to enhance the health of vulnerable families and children
  2. Collaborate with PAHO and WHO to enhance utilization and dissemination of knowledge resources to strengthen nursing and midwifery capacity focusing on the health of children and families
