Enah to serve on Journal of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care Editorial Board

Enah Comfort 1University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing Associate Professor Comfort Enah, PhD, RN, has been invited to serve a three-year term as a member of the Journal of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (JANAC) Editorial Board. Enah’s program of research is focused on HIV.

Based on her past contributions to JANAC, Enah officially became a member of the board at the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care Annual Conference held this year in Chicago Oct. 29 through Oct. 31.

As an editorial board member, Enah will provide input to the editorial staff about the Journal, regularly review manuscripts submitted for publication and participate in conference calls and the selection process for annual awards. Also, she has been encouraged to a record an audio interview of three to seven minutes on the topic of her choice to be posted as a podcast on the JANAC Facebook page.

In extending the invitation to Enah, Editor Lucy Bradley Springer PhD, RN, ACRN, FAAN, wrote: “I know that you would contribute to the quality of the Journal in a significant way.”
