Vance publishes 100th first author, peer-reviewed manuscript

David E. Vance, PhD, MGS, SON Assistant Professor recently hit the milestone of 100 first author, peer-reviewed published manuscripts with the publication of "Conducting an article critique for a quantitative research study: perspectives for doctoral students and other novice readers" in the journal Nursing Research and Reviews.

He published his first peer reviewed paper in 1993, "Traits of volunteers preferred by older adults" in the journal Psychological Reports. Since then, he has been published in a wide scope of journal across disciplines, including nursing, medicine, social work, psychology, physical/occupational therapy, gerontology and spirituality, and much of his writing has been done collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines.
