OSP works closely with other departments to ensure all compliance issues and requirements are in place when negotiating and executing a contract. For example, OSP’s interaction and coordination with the Offices of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Conflict of Interest Review Board (CIRB) is extremely important because an IRB or CIRB “hold” can delay the execution of a contract.
