Brian Curtin once battled a lightsaber-wielding enemy in a campus parking
deck just for fun—and for a growing audience of millions of YouTube viewers. A filmmaker in his free time, the UAB graphic design graduate worked with fellow alumni to create Concrete Hustle, a Star Wars-inspired action adventure complete with daring stunts and special effects. Curtin tells UAB Magazine about the making of the online hit and previews his newest film, a post-apocalyptic tale that recently showed on the big screen.
