UAB Medical Center UAB Hospital visitors can range from patient's families to study participants. Patient families or study participants visiting the medical center at UAB will find three public decks accessible to their needs:
Rate: 0-1 hour $2.00; each additional hour is $1.00 to a maximum of $6.00 per day, 6th Avenue Parking Deck Cashier Hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday Business Hours Rate (weekdays: 8am - 10pm): 0-1 hour $2.00; each additional hour is $1.00 to a maximum After Hours Rate (Saturday & Sunday; weekdays: 10pm - 8am): $3 per exit

Kirklin Clinic/Whitaker Building Kirklin Clinic and the Whitaker Building are served by the Kirklin Deck and Whitaker visitor lot. Both facilities are operated by the Health System. For details on parking and directions, click here.
Women and Infant's Facility Although not in operation yet, the facility will have on-site valet parking available. This facility is also served by the 4th Avenue Parking Deck. For information on parking and directions, click here.
Spain Rehabilitation/Center for Psychiatric Medicine/Civitan International These three buildings have a valet parking lot located in front of the facilities. The parking rate is a graduated rate to a maximum of $8 per day, per exit. If an individual does not have an appointment in the facilities, the rate is $10 per exit.
Sparks Clinic Parking In addition to the public decks, the Sparks Clinic has limited availability in spaces in close proximity to their building. These spaces are located within a gated parking lot. If you have an appointment in that facility, please contact their office for details on access.
Callahan Eye Foundation This facility operates its own parking deck adjacent to the building. The deck is for patients and visitors of the building only. Those not doing business in the building are charged $15 to park. For directions, click here.
Community Care Building The building has limited visitor spaces on-site that are monitored by an attendant. If visiting this building and you find the spaces full, please use the University Boulevard Deck.
Youth Advancement Parking The Youth Advancement Program has limited visitor parking availiable at its building in Lot 14. These spaces require a permit to be displayed. To request a permit in advance of your appointment, contact the clinic or department you are visiting.
Nutrition Sciences Studies Nutrition Sciences has several reserved parking spaces in Lot 7D, behind the School of Public Health. These spaces require a permit to be displayed. Contact your study or trial to request a permit in advance of your appointment.
