The Section on Computers and Other Technologies (SCOT) is proud to present the on-line version of its newsletter, formerly known at The SCOT Report. The SCOT Report was a printed newsletter that contained contributions from SCOT members on a wide variety of topics. It was mailed two or three times per year to all members of the section. In response to a survey sent by Jerry Aronson, our SCOT leader, the SCOT Executive Committee decided to try publishing their news in an eclusively electronic medium. SCOT eNews will continue to publish articles from SCOT members, but because of the nature of the electronic medium, we will not have distinct "issues" of the newsletter. Rather, we will continuously update articles in the newsletter, whenever new material is ready. SCOT Members can access the newsletter via Physicians' Online (in the SCOT Forum) or via the World Wide Web at http://www.uab.edu/pedinfo/scot/.
