Technical Reviewers for Enduring Materials and Medical Education Materials

David Paperny, M.D., F.A.A.P.

June, 1996

At the SCOT executive committee meeting on April 14, 1996, the Director of the Department of Education, Dr. O.J. Sahler, requested a list of SCOT members who have expertise to serve as technical reviewers for enduring materials and medical/professional education materials which are submitted to the Academy for review and approval. Such submissions may be in various forms: videotape, software, CD-ROM, web-pages, etc.

Technical Reviewers may be asked to evaluate the presentation, format, media, and programming functionality as well as content -- where the reviewer is qualified. Therefore, content specialists who can also give expert technical reviews are particularly important. Reviewers are appropriately compensated for their time and work in this regard.

If you would like to participate, please be so kind as to submit the information in the form below (just click the "Submit" button after you've filled it out) or e-mail me (paperny@hawaii.edu).
