New faculty members:
The department is pleased to have Jackie Sullivan join the faculty. Her research interests are in philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of neuroscience.

Marshall Abrams has been appointed to the department as an Assistant Professor from August 2007. His current research focuses on relationships between biology, probability, and mind.

Minnie Randle was awarded the UAB Employee of the Month in July 2008.
