To
minor in philosophy, you must take six courses and make at least
a "C" in each of them. At least three of the courses
must be at the 200 level or above; those three courses must be
taken at UAB. (Technically, you must take a total of 18 hours
in philosophy, but courses are almost always 3 hours each.)
Declaring a Minor in Philosophy
Students may declare a minor in philosophy by contacting Ms. Louise
Cecil, who is the academic adviser to students in the School of
