Research Interests:

"Although I treat a wide variety of malignancies with external beam radiation, my particular clinical interest is in operative brachytherapy treatments for sarcomas and gynecologic cancers. Correspondingly, my primary research interest is gynecologic malignancies. In addition to UAB projects in uterine cancer, I participate in RTOG and GOG committees and meetings regarding gynecologic oncology trials. Additional academic interests include medical education of students and residents, medical ethics and epistemology, the interplay of technology and praxis in clinical medicine, and medical history."
