​Jonathan Miller recently accepted the position of Director of the Office of the Institutional Review Board.  He has over ten years of experience in progressively responsible roles in the area of research compliance.  This work includes experience with biomedical research, as well as research in  social, behavioral, and educational disciplines. Jonathan’s educational background includes a BS in Microbiology and a Master of Public Policy and Administration, a combination that provides complementary views on human subjects protections.  Jonathan has been an active member of Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R) for a number of years.  This involvement has included invitations to serve as faculty at several national conference workshops.  Most recently, he served on the planning committee for the 2011 PRIM&R Advancing Ethical Research Conference as a member of the social, behavioral, and educational research subcommittee.
