Should I complete UAB IRB training?
No. Individuals who work at another institution that has its own IRB need to have their work reviewed by that IRB instead of completing training for UAB.
Yes. Non-UAB research personnel who are covered by the UAB IRB through an Individual Investigator Agreement (IIA) should complete the Community Based Participatory Research course. This course does not satisfy any training requirement for UAB personnel and students.
