Help Us Preserve and Promote the History of Medicine

Historical Collections, comprised of the Reynolds Historical Library, Alabama Museum of the Health Sciences, and UAB Archives, depends on the generous support of Associates members to help fund unit activities. Brought together by a shared scholarly interest in the discipline of the history of the health sciences and an appreciation for rare books and artifacts, the Associates help sponsor the following activities each year:

In exchange for their support, Associates receive the unit newsletter, Treasures, which is published thrice yearly (in January, May, and September), and special invitations to Historical Collections events.

New members are always welcome. We look forward to the opportunity of introducing you to this valuable and nationally recognized collection in the history of the health sciences!
