November 2014-SACNAS put on the event, Conference Prep: Don't be caught off guard! Bertha Hidalgo taught us what was acceptable to wear at conferences and Suzanne Scott-Trammell helped us formulate elevator pitches!
October 2014-SACNAS helped lead Into the Streets, a UAB-wide Community service day, with the BGSA and the GSA.
October 2014-SACNAS put on their 1st Salsa Social (Noche Latina con SACNAS)! We had fun learning how to dance Salsa and Bachata from Natasha and then dancing the night away with our friends!
October 2014-Our members who obtained travel awards just returned from the SACNAS National Conference in Los Angeles, CA! We did recruiting for UAB, learned about new opportunities, and established new networks.
September 2014-Science outreach at the International Street Fair in Downtown Birmingham. Thanks to all who came out to help with our first science outreach event!
