Watch video stream of student center construction

Demolition of Hill University Center has begunPhoto by Bart SweckerThe construction fence around Hill University Center has been up for several weeks, with banners displaying a map of to services formerly housed inside along with renderings of the new student center to be constructed on the same spot.

Now we're beginning to see actual demolition take place, with piles of rubble where the Alumni Auditorium and other parts of the building once stood.

If you're someone who loves destruction (or, eventually, construction), you can tune in to a live video stream from a webcam mounted atop the Rec Center to watch the progress as the HUC comes down and a new student center is built in its place.

The video stream works best using Internet Explorer, and it requires a username and password to access. Just enter the username "Guest1" (without quotes) and password "1Guest" (again, without quotes) to get in. Also, note that both the username and password are case-sensitive.

Enjoy the show! We look forward to a new and improved student center in fall of 2015.
