Tickets on sale for Camille Armstrong Memorial Scholarship Step Show

camille-armstrong-stepshow-2012Get ready to "Take Back the '90s" as fraternities and sororities compete in the Camille Armstrong Memorial Step Show. The 24th annual event will take place at Boutwell Auditorium on Saturday, February 8 at 7 p.m.

This year's step show will be hosted by Lil' JJ and will feature music from DJ New Era.

If you purchase your tickets in advance, prices are $10 for UAB students, faculty, and staff, or $15 general admission. On the day of the show, prices go up by $5 ($15 UAB, $20 public). On the other hand, if you buy your tickets on a Friday, you can instead save $5 with the Five-Dollar-Off-Friday deal ($5 UAB, $10 public).  All tickets are available at the UAB Ticket Office. Student tickets are limited to 2 per student.

Camille Armstrong was a political science major at UAB who, in 1986, lost her life in an auto accident just weeks before receiving her degree. The step show supports a scholarship fund in her name which benefits deserving undergraduate African-American students at UAB, preferably in the Political Science field.
