What separates the student from the prospective student? It’s not just the word “prospective”—it’s classes. To attend classes during any academic term, you have to register first. You can register for classes if:
- you’ve been admitted to UAB
- you’ve attended Goin’ Green New Student Orientation
- your financial records with Student Accounting Services are in good order
- you’re in good standing—not on academic or disciplinary suspension
At the end of your orientation session—if you’ve attended the entire session and met those requirements—you’ll officially enroll and register for classes. Academic advisors and orientation staff members will make sure you leave campus registered for all your classes and holding your finalized class schedule.
