Peer Career Advisors are trained and supervised paraprofessionals who provide career assistance to other students through the UAB Career Center. Responsibilities of Peer Career Advisors include critiquing resumes, conducting practice interviews, assisting peers with job search strategies, and promoting the UAB Career Center.

How to Apply:
Qualifications:
- Rising UAB Sophomore, Junior, or Senior with a 3.0 minimum overall GPA
- Strong interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism
- The ability to communicate in a concise and effective manner, both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs and similar
- Must be available for three days of paid training prior to the start of the semester
