Once you have successfully applied for military benefits, you will receive a Certificate of Eligibility in the mail (will be mailed to the address you provided on your application for military benefits approximately 4-6 weeks after you apply). Please read the entire document carefully to know exactly what benefits you qualify for.
Submit a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility to the UAB Office of Veteran Recruitment and Student Services in one of the following ways:

Mailing Address: 1720 2nd Ave S, HILL 313, Birmingham, AL 35294-1150
Once the UAB Office of Veteran Recruitment & Student Services receives your Certificate of Eligibility, you will receive an email confirmation containing a link to UAB Veterans Benefits Request Form allowing you to request your benefits (This email will be sent to your UAB email address). You will need your Blazer ID and password to log in.
UAB evaluates military service and educational experiences completed by active-duty military service and Coast Guard personnel. UAB is an institutional member of Service Members’ Opportunity Colleges. If you earned military credit while serving in the military, request to have official transcripts sent to UAB for evaluation.
