Computer & Technology Course Information The Computer Technology Program provides cutting-edge computer training to our employees. The program assists employees in obtaining skills ranging from Keyboarding to Programming. Professional Development Program Information The Professional Development Program offers cutting-edge information on management, supervision, policies, communication, and many other topics designed to help you become more effective and productive both personally and professionally. Faculty Development Research Compliance Orientation Programs Instructor-led orientation is conducted every Monday, beginning promptly at 8:00 am. General orientation is required for all UAB employees. Hospital specific orientation is required for all UAB hospital employees and is conducted through Hospital HR. Oracle Administrative Systems Training and Information The Oracle Administrative Systems Instruction and Development team provides classroom training, online instruction, clinics and special sessions for users of UAB's Oracle HR & Finance Administrative Systems. Whether you are a new user of the system or a user with specific questions, training classes and online information are available to help you become more effective and productive. Diversity Awareness Education Program All UAB employees are required to completed Parts I and II of the Diversity Awareness Education Program. Part I is a course taught online.
