The Office of Grants and Contracts Administration (OGCA)
The Office of Grants and Contracts Administration (OGCA)
is responsible for the institutional review and
approval of all extramurally sponsored grants and contracts, prior to
submission to the sponsor to ensure the involvement of all required University
components. Office staff
negotiate with sponsors on behalf of the faculty and the University and
respond to requests for information from funding agencies. OGCA negotiates changes in project objectives
or budgets, prepares subcontracts, and develops reports on grant and contract
activity. The Office also provides a
wide range of services to those seeking or performing work under externally
funded projects. OGCA staff is eager to
assist investigators and department administrators by performing a number of
services.
