| Teach Observation
"When
the presentation of history is completed and before the physical examination is recited,
call on someone to point out three physical findings. While your student searches for the
rash, the ptosis, and the surgical scar, watch the eyes of the other students. They will
have suddenly come alive, have realized that observation is important and that their turn
will come. "
