EPIC is a module-based faculty development system for preceptors of health-professions students. Epic is divided into ten modules. Each of the first three modules focuses on one critical skill related to clinical teaching in the community practice setting and include the following topics: setting the stage, effective teaching, and evaluating performance and giving feedback. The remaining seven modules focus on teaching contemporary health issues. Each module is composed of a series of learning activities and a mastery exercise, which may be submitted for continuing education credit.

Clinical Problem-Solving Cases (CPSC) is a new and innovative educational program from the American College of Physicians–American Society of Internal Medicine. Two cases published per month present interactive, clinically based patient care scenarios addressing differential diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Written and reviewed by respected physicians who are well known for their expertise in the fields of Internal Medicine and its subspecialties, CPSC offers state-of-the-art, focused problem-solving at the click of a button.
