Graduate Program

Graduate students at UAB enter through the Graduate Biomedical Sciences (GBS), which comprises eight interdisciplinary themes. The Neuroscience Graduate Theme seeks to equip and train students to become tomorrow's innovative neuroscientists.

Blazer Broadening Representation And Inclusion in Neuroscience (Blazer BRAIN) 

The Blazer BRAIN Program provides undergraduate students an opportunity to experience full time academic research in neurobiology and increase their competitiveness for entry into graduate programs.

Neuroscience Undergraduate Program

Established in 2008 in response to the growing interest in neuroscience among undergraduates and the consequent need to coordinate coursework and research opportunities, the UAB Undergraduate Neuroscience Program is an interdisciplinary program between the Neurobiology Department in the School of Medicine and the Psychology Department in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
