The Alabama Distracted Driving Summit
Distracted Driving is a Serious Problem- Will You Help Alabama Solve It?
The UAB University Transportation Center and the University Transportation Center for Alabama are sponsoring the Alabama Distracted Driving Summit on December 3, 2009, at the Doubletree Hotel in Birmingham, AL.
The purpose of this one day event is to bring together researchers, educators, public policy and decision makers, and private citizens from across our state to describe the scope and nature of the distracted driving problem, to identify meaningful ways to increase public awareness of the safety issues associated with distracted driving, and to identify and review legislative and regulatory approaches for addressing distracted driving in Alabama.
Please see flyer for more information.
If you will attend, please email Dr. Andrea Underhill (Andrea.Underhill@ccc.uab.edu) for additional details. Registration is required.
