The UAB Vector Production Facility offers the following services:

    • Vero cell banks
    • HEK-293 cell banks
    • A549 cell banks

  • Production of Master and Working Virus Banks:
    • Adenovirus vectors
    • Herpesvirus vectors

    •  

  • Quality Control Assays:
    • Mycoplasma
    • Endotoxin

    • Manufacturing and QC tests are performed using Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) or current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).


  • Large Scale, research quality preparations of adenovirus and herpesvirus vectors are also available.
