Suits 4 Success Clothing Donation Drive

The UAB Commission on the Status of Women seeks donations ofsuitsgently used clothing for My Sister’s Closet, an outreach program of the YWCA of Central Alabama. Drop off your tax-deductible donations of clean suits, jackets, skirts, casual pants, shirts, dresses, formal prom dresses, shoes, handbags, accessories and toiletries at John N. Whitaker Building, 500 22nd St. South, from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. each day Feb. 10-14, 2014.

The Science of Sex and Gender in Human Health

Learn about sex and gender differences in The Science of Sex and Gender in Human Health online courses. This course was developed for researchers, clinicians, health care professionals, educators, and students to  provide a basic scientific understanding of the major physiological differences between the sexes, the influences these differences have on illness and health outcomes, and the implications for policy, medical research, and health care.
