The UAB Commission on the Status of Women seeks donations ofsuitsgently used clothing for My Sister’s Closet, an outreach program of the YWCA of Central Alabama. Drop off your tax-deductible donations of clean suits, jackets, skirts, casual pants, shirts, dresses, formal prom dresses, shoes, handbags, accessories and toiletries at John N. Whitaker Building, 500 22nd St. South, from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. each day Feb. 10-14, 2014.

UAB Police Chief Purcell Addresses CSW Meeting on 9/19

In response to questions and concerns raised by members, the CSW welcomes UAB Police Chief Purcell to our next CSW meeting on Wednesday, September 19th from 12:30-1:30 pm.  We will meet in the Ireland Room of the Lister Hill Library.  Drinks and cookies will be provided so bring your lunch and be a part of this vital discussion.  All are welcome!
