2015 REQUEST FOR OUTSTANDING WOMEN 
NOMINATIONS
 
Do you know a woman who has done one or more of the following?

o Made it easier for other women to achieve
o Taken a courageous stance
o Provided significant service to women
o Overcome adversity to achieve her goal

If so...Please nominate her for one of the following awards.  You may also submit more than one nomination.

o Outstanding Woman UAB Student
o The Becky Trigg Outstanding Woman Faculty Member
o The Susan D. Marchase Outstanding Woman Administrator Award
o Outstanding Woman UAB Staff Member
o Outstanding Woman in the Community

o Make sure the nominee's full name and contact information is included on your nomination
o Check the nomination category (student, faculty, administrator/staff, or community) for your nominee

Suits 4 Success Clothing Donation Drive

The UAB Commission on the Status of Women seeks donations ofsuitsgently used clothing for My Sister’s Closet, an outreach program of the YWCA of Central Alabama. Drop off your tax-deductible donations of clean suits, jackets, skirts, casual pants, shirts, dresses, formal prom dresses, shoes, handbags, accessories and toiletries at John N. Whitaker Building, 500 22nd St. South, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. each day Feb. 2-6, 2015.
