Darrin Reaves II
When I saw it, I wanted to bring it back to Birmingham.
—Darrin Reaves II, from Birmingham, played football at UAB as a running back from 2011 to 2013. He went on to play in the National Football League for the Carolina Panthers in 2014 and the Kansas City Chiefs from 2015 to 2016. He now volunteers with UAB for Team Smile, a program that connects oral-health care providers with professional athletic organizations to provide dental care to children in underserved communities. Darrin also has returned to UAB to finish his degree in civil engineering.
