—All four students who won the 2019 Homecoming Gurney Derby are second-year students in the physician assistant studies program in the School of Health Professions. Emily Delvo is from Springfield, Illinois; Lindsey Lawrence is from Sewanee, Georgia; Michael McDaniel is from Fort Payne, Alabama; and Christopher Powers hails from Dallas, Texas. Their team name was Fly by the Seat of your PANCE (Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination).
