—Greg Davis, M.D., is a professor in the UAB Department of Pathology and works in the forensic division of the coroner/medical examiner office in Jefferson County. He has worked for UAB for 25 years.
Rachel Gill, Ph.D., is a double alumna of UAB. She graduated in 2004 with a master's degree in forensic science; in 2011 she earned her doctorate with a focus in cellular biology and virology. She met Davis as she was pursuing her master's degree, when both worked in the coroner/medical examiner office. She currently works for the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
