Ken Jackson

—Ken Jackson enrolled at UAB in 1969 and received his bachelor's degree in business in 1971. The next year, he earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and was president of the first MBA graduating class. Jackson also has served as president of the National Alumni Society and national chairman of the alumni phase of UAB’s first capital campaign. In 1996 he established the Ken Jackson Endowed Scholarship in Industrial Distribution, and he is the international voice of the UAB Civitan Research Center. He is the former president of Dudley C. Jackson Inc., an award-winning, multimillion-dollar industrial distribution firm. Jackson retired in 2013
