-Marie Sutton, of Woodlawn, Alabama, earned her bachelor's degree in English and communications from Stillman College in 1996 and her master's in English from UAB in 2017. She came to work at UAB in 2010 as a media specialist. She became director of Student Media in 2014 and now serves as director of marketing and communications in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.
Patrick Johnson is from Hueytown, Alabama, and attended UAB from 1990 to 1994. Many know Patrick as a co-creator of the hip-hop group Red Light District. He came to UAB in 2016 as the production manager for Student Media. He now serves as a web content strategist in University Relations.
