We’re excited to welcome Austin Mitchell to UAB Advancement! Austin is joining us as a Regional Giving Specialist, where he will be qualifying donors and cultivating mid-level gifts for the Huntsville, Nashville, and Houston, Texas, regions.
Austin is a graduate of the University of North Alabama, where he earned a bachelor's degree in professional marketing. After graduation, he spent two years in the rental car industry before accepting a position as an admissions counselor at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). There, he spent two and a half years recruiting new freshman and transfer students. Austin is currently pursuing a Master of Professional Studies from MTSU with a concentration in Strategic Leadership.
In his free time, Austin enjoys working on various photography projects in hopes of earning gallery placements. He also likes listening to music, curating playlists, writing poetry, and watching sports.
