UAB Advancement is excited to welcome Catherine Cullom as an assistant director of development in the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. As a part of the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center development team, Catherine will be organizing the annual ArtBLINK fundraiser and managing the cancer center’s Young Supporters Board.
Catherine previously worked as an event specialist for the marketing and business development team at Maynard Nexsen law firm. Her professional experience also includes being an event planner for the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville.
Originally from Tennessee, Catherine met her husband while they were both attending The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. In July, they will celebrate their fifth anniversary. The couple enjoys spending time outside with their two daughters. Catherine also enjoys going to the lake and spending time with her family and friends.
