Daagye Hendricks has transitioned to the UAB Advancement Regional Development team.
In her new role, Daagye will focus on long-term donor growth through development and management as well as feasibility analysis of ad hoc project ideas. She will attend community and campus events as a member of the UAB Development team due to her extensive network in the greater Birmingham area. She will also serve as a liaison between the Regional Giving Team and the School of Nursing, School of Education & Human Sciences, and Collat School of Business. In addition to working with frontline fundraising in the Greater Birmingham area and select regions across the state, Daagye will also collaborate with Beau Bowden, Corporate & Foundation Relations Program Director II, and Letessia Penick, Assistant Director of Prospect Research and Management, to qualify corporate and foundation prospects.
“I am excited to welcome Daagye into her new role on the Regional team. We worked extremely well together during her time on Annual Giving, where she consistently brought forward strong insights from data and donor responses—along with thoughtful ideas for segmentation and improved engagement,” Lisa R. Bristow, Senior Director of Development II, said. “Her ability to connect analysis with action made a meaningful difference. Bringing Daagye into this hybrid role will strengthen our community presence, expand our reach to new donor audiences and better align frontline fundraising with strategic pipeline development. Her work across individual giving, corporate and foundation qualification, school partnerships and community engagement will be a tremendous asset to the Regional team and the broader development effort.”
Daagye previously served as assistant director of Annual Giving. She has been a part of UAB Advancement since 2022, when she joined as Annual Giving manager.
