Congratulations to DeShunn Wilkerson on her promotion to Assistant Director of Development for the HSOM Department of Medicine.
In this role, DeShunn will work closely with our donors, faculty, and leadership to advance the Department of Medicine’s priorities through philanthropic support.
She previously supported the department as a development coordinator.

DeShunn worked for nearly two decades in the nonprofit sector prior to joining UAB, advocating for some of society's most vulnerable individuals, including those who have faced homelessness and domestic violence.
