As a University Events Specialist, Gabby will be working with the UAB Heersink School of Medicine and Department of Surgery to plan various events, galas, conferences, and meetings.

Originally from Atlanta, Gabby earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master's in business administration from Samford University. She has worked as a wedding planner with Corrie Stephens Events for two years and plans continue there as a part-time assistant. She is planning an especially important wedding for 2026, though—her own! She and her college sweetheart, Will Dixon, are set to get married in November.

When she is not at work, Gabby enjoys painting, playing pickleball, and spending time with my friends and family.
