Congratulations to Jennifer Morgan on becoming Executive Director of Development for university schools and colleges!
In this new role, Jennifer will provide visionary leadership and mentorship to development officers and staff of the Collat School of Business, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education and Human Sciences, Honors College, and School of Engineering. She will organize, plan, and lead fundraising projects and initiatives through a team-based approach to securing major, principal, and transformational gifts. Jennifer will collaborate with David Allen, Associate Vice President for Development, to set clear performance metrics, monitor progress, and foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, growth, and accountability.
“I am very excited to have Jennifer in this important leadership position for University Schools and Colleges,” said Allen. “She brings to the position an extensive background and prior experience in development and alumni roles within the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, and Honors College at the University of South Florida. In her most recent role as Senior Director of Development in the UAB School of Health Professions, Jennifer excelled in both strategy and partnerships, while also bringing innovative and exciting ideas to Advancement. She is a thoughtful strategic leader with a collaborative, people-first approach to building trust and strong relationships, which is a great fit for our culture. I look forward to working alongside Jennifer to help move our fundraising efforts to the next level.”
Jennifer initially joined the UAB Advancement team in October 2025.
