UAB Advancement is excited to welcome Development Coordinator for the Heersink School of Medicine Katie Beth Linder. In this role, Katie Beth will assist the Heersink School of Medicine team with various tasks, including the Grateful Patient Program.
Katie Beth joins UAB from Faulkner University, where she worked in undergraduate admissions. She also recently earned a degree in Visual Media Studies with a minor in Nonprofit Studies from Auburn University.
When she's not at UAB, she's with her camera. Katie Beth runs her own photography and videography business. She also freelances to small and upcoming nonprofits to help build their social media presence.
Originally from Dothan, Katie Beth recently got married to her husband, Matthew. He will be attending UAB Optometry school in the fall. She is one of six kids. When she was in high school, her parents started foster care. She went from being the youngest of three girls to the middle child.
