UAB Advancement welcomes Katie Evans as a Development Coordinator for the Heersink School of Medicine Department of Medicine development team.
In this role, she will assist with data and communication management for all divisions and the Grateful Patient Program. Her previous administrative career roles have included work in construction and public libraries.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from UAB and a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of Alabama.
She and her husband live in Trussville. The couple has two children on the verge of young adulthood, and the family enjoys spoiling their two rescue pups. In her free time, Katie likes listening to audiobooks and crafting, especially knitting.
