We are excited to announce that Letessia Penick will now be working as Assistant Director of Prospect Research and Management (PRM).
In this role, Letessia will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day prospect management activities of the PRM team and working with the Director of PRM to help grow development officer prospect pipelines. For the near future, she will still be handling all corporation and foundation research.
When Letessia joined the PRM team in early 2025 as a prospect research analyst focusing on Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR), she made an immediate impact on the team. Within a few weeks, she made the CFR process in PRM her own and was generating comprehensive lists of Corporate and Foundation suspects that have resulted in new relationships, solicitations, and dollars for both the Heersink School of Medicine and campus teams.
“Her prior experience, as well as the work she has done to build trust with Development staff and Advancement leadership, have made her transition into this role a natural one,” said Kate Harris, Director of Prospect Research and Management. “Letessia has been an absolute pleasure to work with, and I am thrilled for her and about what her ideas and skills will mean for PRM as we move forward!”
