We are excited to welcome Lynnmarie Flowers to UAB Advancement! She is joining the UAB Medicine/Heersink School of Medicine Advancement team as a development writer. In her role, Lynnmarie will produce proposals, stewardship reports, and digital content for current and prospective donors.
Lynnmarie is joining UAB from Entergy Nuclear in Mississippi as a communications specialist. Her career has also included communications, writing, and editor roles at other major energy companies, the Kennedy Space Center, and Southern Living.
Outside of work she enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and serving at her church.
She and her husband split their time between homes in Madison, Mississippi, and Alabama’s Smith Lake, located 60 miles north of Birmingham. She has four adult children and seven grandchildren. Her family also includes two Australian Shepherds, Ellie and Bear.
