In his new role, Michael will be leading the Development and Alumni team, collaborating to secure major gifts and bolster the school’s portfolio of prospects.

“Michael has done an excellent job of moving up the Development career ladder at UAB by meeting and exceeding expectations on a consistent basis. He has built a resume of fundraising success and portfolio growth,” Associate Vice President for Development David Allen said. “I am excited for Michael and his ability to take the next step in his career as the lead fundraiser for the School of Engineering.”

Michael previously worked in development for the UAB Collat School of Business, holding the positions of assistant director and associate director of development after transferring from his role as a development officer for the UAB Honors College. Michael’s career at UAB began in 2015 as an academic advisor.
