Congratulations to Sarah Jenks on her recent promotion to Director of Development!
As Director of Development, Sarah Jenks will lead the Development and Alumni team within the School of Health Professions. She will work closely with Dr. Racheal Banks, the new Executive Director of Development for Professional Schools, to continue growing the fundraising success of the school with a focus on major and principal gifts.
“Sarah has done an outstanding job of consistently exceeding fundraising expectations and significantly growing the overall fundraising numbers in the School of Health Professions,” said David Allen, Associate Vice President for Development. “She is a hard worker who is focused on excellence and enjoys learning and growing her skills and abilities as a development officer. It has been impressive to watch her create and develop new fundraising opportunities and produce impressive outcomes in multiple departments within the school that have not had fundraising success in the past. It is a pleasure working with Sarah, and I am excited about this new role for her as she continues to grow her career at UAB.”
Sarah previously served as Associate Director of Development in the School of Health Professions after initially joining UAB Advancement in November 2022.
