Congratulations to Tori Akins who recently accepted the position of Assistant Manager for the Grateful Patient Program. As Grateful Patient Assistant Manager, Tori will provide development officers with quality grateful patient suspects and manage pre-qualification moves for the Grateful Patient Program. She will also assist in key performance indicator reporting.

Tori joined UAB Advancement five years ago where she has served in Advancement Services as a Records Management Specialist and as a Prospect Research Analyst. Before joining UAB, Tori spent more than six years in data analytics at BBVA.

“Tori is an excellent fit for this position due to her experience with prospect research and data management, a familiarity with the program and an eager client satisfaction mindset,” Manager of the Grateful Patient Program Erin Clarkson said. “I look forward to working with Tori and seeing her contributions to the Grateful Patient Program.”

Tori will transition to Assistant Manager on August 19. We’re so proud of you, Tori!
